EV road trips, planned honestly.
Brochure range lies on the highway. Volt Route computes the real range, inserts charging stops you can trust, pairs each with a dhaba or hotel — then hands you a ready Google Maps route with every stop as a waypoint. You just drive.
Why "63 kWh × 6.5 = 409 km" strands you
That maths is arithmetically right and operationally wrong. Four corrections — usable capacity, the 80→15% planning window, highway drag, and heat/load — turn 409 km into roughly 200 km of safe planning range. Volt Route models all four.
Real range band
Energy per segment from speed², temperature, AC, load, wind and elevation — shown as a band, never a false-precise number.
Safe stops
Never routes you onto a lone unreliable charger: a backup must be reachable with ≥8% left. India's key stranding guard.
Dhaba pairing
A 65-minute charge is a lunch stop. Stops are paired with food and lodging by time-of-day and charge duration.
Live planner
This calls our real API at api.evtrip.itsmehere.com and plans across four modes. Routing & charger data are placeholder for now — the energy & stop engine is real.
Pick a car and a route, then hit Plan trip.
Four plans, one tap
The same trip, optimised four ways — because "fastest" and "most reliable" are different trips on Indian highways.
Fastest
Minimise total time; lean on high-power sites.
Most reliable
Bigger buffers, two-charger rule always on.
Fewest stops
Charge to 90%, accept the time penalty, stop less.
Calibrated
Every logged trip tunes the model per car — a moat competitors can't copy fast.
For developers
A clean REST API wraps the engine. No product web app — mobile (Flutter) + APIs only.
Flutter app
One codebase, offline plan cache, drive-mode re-plan. Built on these same APIs.
Open-first
Valhalla routing, OSM + Open Charge Map data, Open-Meteo weather. Pay only where India needs accuracy.
